today we have comparison of  two budget wateches

Realme watch s & realme watch s pro

HIGHLIGHTS

·       Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro have been launched in India.

·       Realme Watch S Pro comes with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display.

·       Realme Watch S has IP68 water resistance and 16 workout modes.

Realme launched two new smartwatches in India earlier this week. They are a big upgrade over the first-generation Realme Watch not only in terms of the design but also certain features. And of course, the two watches are quite pricier than the smartwatch that was launched back in March. Besides, the two smartwatches in the line-up are also distinct enough for the price gap they have between them.

The Realme Watch S costs Rs 4,999 while the Watch S Pro is priced at Rs 9,999, which is directly Rs 5,000 higher. There are certain differences between the two smartwatches, including the size and features. But before we get to the differences between the two smartwatches, let me list the similarities.

So both smartwatches run the custom operating system that is preloaded with certain health-related apps. Both have the same number of workout modes, such as outdoor run, indoor run, outdoor walk, indoor walk, outdoor cycling, spinning, hiking, swimming, basketball, yoga, rowing, elliptical, cricket, strength training, and a free workout. Both smartwatches can be paired with Android and iOS devices using the Realme Link app, and finally, both have support with interchangeable straps.

Realme Watch S vs Watch S Pro: Display

Realme Watch S has a 1.3-inch colour touchscreen display with support for auto-brightness. It is circular in shape. The Realme Watch S Pro comes with a 1.39-inch AMOLED Always-On display with support for auto-brightness. The Always-On display feature will be rolled out later. Both smartwatches have minute markings around the screen.

Realme Watch S vs Watch S Pro: Battery Life

The Realme Watch S comes with 15-day battery life on a single charge while the Watch S Pro a 14-day standby time on a fully charged battery. Both the smartwatches use the magnetic pin charging solution. I have not tested the smartwatches yet so I cannot really tell if these claims are true. My review will be out soon so wait for it.

Realme Watch S vs Watch S Pro: Waterproofing

Both Realme Watch S Pro and Watch S have waterproofing capabilities but the company has said that only the Watch S has the IP68 certification. The Realme Watch S Pro, on the other hand, can endure water up to 50 metres and 5ATM pressure. However, Realme says that the IP68 certification is not suitable for swimming and showers. This only means that the watch is capable enough for water splashes and sweat. And interestingly, Watch S Pro has a swimming mode.
